Jimmy Krupa

Jimmy is a PGA member with over 26 years of experience in the golf industry. He has worked in almost every aspect of the Club business including private, public and resort facilities.  Over the past three years he has been the General Manager of Thorntree Golf Club as they have transitioned from a Private to Semi Private club. Previous he worked for Dallas based Arcis Golf as the General Manager at Mansfield National Golf Club in Mansfield Texas. He has managed other DFW area courses such as Fossil Creek Golf Club in Fort Worth and Riverside Golf Club in Grand Prairie.  His knowledge of the local golf market as well as his previous experience at other Clubs in the Houston area made him a great fit for our Club here.  His managerial strengths have led him to achieve many accomplishments throughout his career and his strong integrity and leadership qualities are what helps him to produce an energetic environment and a culture of loyalty and success.  He is originally from San Antonio where he attended The University of Texas at San Antonio graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.  He turned professional after high school competing in many events while also attending school and working two jobs.  His career brought him to the DFW area in 2000 and he now calls it home with his wife Karen of 14 years and his three children.
