HEALTHCARE COMMITTEE

The healthcare status of a community and the availability of medical services can have a dramatic impact on area businesses. The DeSoto Chamber’s Healthcare Committee actively promotes the development of the healthcare industry and the provision of services throughout the Best Southwest Region.  Members of this committee will continue to assist in the development of the Southwest Medical District, and actively promote Chamber healthcare providers with service directories and brochures given to Chamber members and the community.

The goal of the Healthcare Committee is to help DeSoto remain a leader in the healthcare industry and to ensure services are locally available for the citizens of DeSoto through the following: Health & Wellness Conference (October luncheon), Membership Development, Enhancement of Southwest Medical District, Live Healthy DeSoto 100 Day Fitness Challenge & 5k/10k Fun Run.
