GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE 2010

The Government Committee seeks to support business as well as keep an eye on legislative and regulatory issues on the federal, state and local levels that directly affect DeSoto’s business environment.

Any city’s economic strength and growth is based upon a diverse and supportive business community from small businesses to major employers, as well as the impact to public policy decisions made on local, state and national levels.

In order to enhance the growth of companies like yours, this committee offers a variety of valuable resources and services. The Government Committee also seeks to promote cooperation between the Chamber, the City, DeSoto ISD and the DeSoto Economic Development Corporation.

The Government Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month at 12:00 p.m at the Chamber Office.
